Welcome to Scottish Sports Aid

Scottish Sports Aid is a charity which provides financial assistance in the form of grant awards to talented sporting youngsters in the 12 to 22 year age range and to disability sports stars of varying ages, who are competing at national level in their age group, and are already representing Scotland at senior level, or are considered to have the potential to do so. The finance given is to help the athletes with their travel and training costs, and will hopefully assist them in becoming Scotland's future sporting stars. In 2011 we have distributed over £250,000 of awards to more than 250 of Scotland's most promising young sports stars and disability sports stars.

The dedication of these youngsters and the huge sacrifices of time and money by them and their parents is greatly to be commended.
